More extensive shopping facilities are available about two miles away both at Warsash Village and the Locks Heath District Centre.

It is the ideal holiday retreat for seascape artists, marine enthusiasts, and walkers as one can wonder down to the coast line and enjoy panoramic views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. Enjoy this location to the full by utilising the en site facilities or use this home as a base to observe the coastal life in Spring and Summer months which bring nesting seabirds foraging along the coastline, ramblers and Sunday walkers spotting sail boats all making their paths along the Solent Way. Visit in winter months braving the elements to walk the many coastal paths before returning to warm up by the fire. Access is also available to a private slipway and boat park.
